- The captain is responsible for the entire service stations in the restaurant.
- He must ensure that operation on shop floor is as per standards.
- Handling and personalized service of all VIP tables.
- Ensuring all guest complaints regarding food & service are handled carefully & efficiently.
- Ensuring staff grooming and proper implementation of checklist.
- Ensure service staff is providing a pleasant meal experience to the guest.
- All staff matters and acts of insubordination are brought to the notice of the manager/ Asst. Manager.
- Ensuring no wrongful acts are carried out in the restaurant premises and company policy at all times are followed.
- Conducting inventory of stock & bar.
- Making requisition of required items.
- Handling staff problems & finding solutions
- Smooth billing of guests.
- Ensuring timely food pickup and coordination with external guests for timely delivery of supply.
- Coordinating with the concerned persons for repair & maintenance
- Check grooming of all employees before start of shift.
- Any special tasks assigned by the manager/Asst. manager are duly fulfilled.
